so this weekend didn't go as planned. halfway to Indio I get news that Moz bailed on us. to make things even more interesting, priceline wouldn't cancel the hotel lori had booked. so we just ended up shopping at the outlets all day. they were pretty amazing. i got a great pair of jeans and a work shirt. on the way home we stopped at the salton sea, which we've all passed a hundred times but never seen the shore of. it was pretty fascinating. there's no sand, instead its like 4 feet of fish scales and shell pieces. also miles of dead talapia corpses. it was a great weekend despite the lack of moz and we were all in high spirits. |
